The Job Club is an ongoing training service provided to help you with important employment skills. Our instructors will guide your job search with prepared materials in an effort to work with you in attaining your employment goals. You may enroll at any time and begin immediately.
Services Available Through Job Club
- Structured job search
- Beginning keyboarding tutorials
- PACEware Employability Skills Lab
- Students may utilize this service in the following manners:
- Choose modules based on their immediate needs
- Answer a 45 question, multiple-choice pre-assessment. Based on answers given, the program will prescribe modules
- Referring counselors or case managers may require that specific modules be completed
- Pre-employment Skills Modules
- Examining your values, interests, and skills
- Conducting a job search
- Using labor market information
- Preparing a resume
- Filling out an application
- Interviewing
- Work Maturity Skills Modules
- Introducing the world of work
- Being consistently punctual
- Maintaining regular attendance
- Demonstrating positive attitudes and behavior
- Presenting appropriate appearances
- Exhibiting good interpersonal relations
- Completing tasks effectively
- GED Preparation and Adult Basic Skills Instruction
(NOTE: Services 1, 2, & 3 are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.. Service 4 is available Monday-Thursday from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
