The Sightseers

The Sightseers is a program offered to adults on day trips to surround areas.

The Sightseers Trip / Workshop Brochure for any and all young at heart. Anyone interested in attending a workshop or trip may print the flyer included in the Come Out and Play newsletter and mail it in with his or her payment.

Transportation: We leave from BCPRS office at 59 Woodfin Place, Asheville, 28801

From I 240 W
Take the Charlotte St. Exit
Turn left onto Charlotte St.
Cross the bridge and turn left at the traffic light onto Woodfin Place
Immediately past traffic light turn right at 59 Woodfin Place
Please park in lot in front of the building

We will take a 15 passenger van. We will not load the van until 10 minutes before the trip is scheduled to leave.

Registration: To register for any trip, you need to turn in your registration form and fee before the registration deadline. There is limited space and trips usually become full before the deadline. If you have registered for a trip that is full, you will be contacted and automatically placed on a waiting list. In the event that a space opens, we will hold your money until the date of the trip. If you cannot fill that space or a space does not open, your money will b e returned to you. You will only be contacted if a trip is full. You will not be contacted to confirm registration.

Refund Policy: Refunds will not be given unless the trip is cancelled due to inclement weather (please see below). BCPRS will keep a waiting list for those who inquire about a trip after the deadline. You may choose to sell your place to someone else if you wish.

Inclement Weather Policy: BCPRS reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time due to the threat of or the act of inclement weather. Refunds will be given if the trip is cancelled.
