Hominy Creek River Park is currently closed due to recent flood events. The parking lot is covered in silt and not suitable for visitors. The maintenance crews of Buncombe County and the City of Asheville are working on the cleanup of the park and the greenway that runs through it.
We will make every effort to reopen the park as quickly as possible. We will continue to post information as the clean up progresses.
