Support Operations Bureau  

The Support Services Bureau of the Buncombe County Sheriffs Office is charged with providing all the Support Services for the Sheriff’s Office. Support Services include Personnel Services, Budget and Purchasing, Central Records, Sex Offenders Registry, Information Technology, Property and Evidence Storage and Maintenance, Communications, Domestic Violence Protective Order Maintenance Chaplains Services, School Resource Officer Program, Training and Development, Equipment Records and Maintenance, Animal Control, and Crime Prevention. The Civil Process Division also reports to the Support Services Command.
