The mission of the Pharmace Division is to promote a healthy and safe quality of life for the residents of Buncombe County regardless of socio-economic status, including low income by: providing education, promoting wellness through prevention of illness; and the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. The pharmacy employs 6 full time pharmacy technicians, 3 full time and 3 part time registered pharmacists.
Registered Pharmacists provide:
- Prescribed drugs for health center patients
- Counseling about all medications
