Public Health Educators provide health information and programs on various topics in schools and community settings.
Comprehensive programs are developed to help prevent and reduce health problems such as chronic disease, cancer, injury and teen pregnancy through educational programs, media and collaboration with other community agencies.
Programs include:
- Childbirth and Parenting
- Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention
- Sexually Transmitted Disease and HIV Education
- Tobacco education
- Smoking cessation
- Health promotion
Brochures and reports are available as well as updates on health issues, policies and statistics.
