Peter Loewer Presents: Native Plants in the Fall Garden & Preparing for Spring


 Peter Loewer is an internationally-known local author of books on gardening & natural history.Known as The Wild Gardener, Peter Loewer is an internationally-known local author of books on gardening and natural history. His book The Wild Gardener was named one of the best 75 gardening books of the Twentieth Century by the American Horticultural Society. Also a botanical illustrator and garden photographer, his presentation will include slides of many native plants – and a question and answer session to help gardeners tend to, begin or add to their native garden with fall plantings.

The program will be held on Tuesday, August 28 at 6 p.m. at the Swannanoa Library. Come early to get a seat – his programs are popular! This program is free and open to the public. For more information, call Swannanoa Library at 250-6486.
