Learn quilting techniques and have a great book bag or purse when you're done. Patterns are taken from the book "101 Fabulous Fat Quarter Bags" by M'Liss Rae Hawley.
Betsy Keene of Carolina Foam, Fabric & Home Decor will provide (for a small fee of $10) a quilter's kit to help you finish the bag and all fabric necessary for everything but the lining.
Please bring your own sewing machine and have some beginner's knowledge of how to use one. The class is limited - signup at the Swannanoa Library 250-6486 or email swannanoa.library@buncombecounty.org.
