Landscaping in our mountains presents unique challenges, such as dealing with slope erosion, managing storm water runoff, and being fire-wise. This course integrates science, common sense and practical information to help homeowners (gardeners and non-gardeners alike) understand those challenges, analyze your own properties, and develop strategies for smart landscaping to get the most for your time and money, to protect your home, and to help preserve our mountain environment.
