Internationally known expert on Mayan culture Dr. George E. Stuart comes to the Swannanoa Library to discuss current predictions of the end of the world based on erroneous interpretations of the Maya calendar.
Stuart has devoted 60 years of his life to archaeology working with National Geographic as Staff Archaeologist and Archaeology Editor of the National Geographic Magazine. He is now president and editor-in-chief of the Boundary End Archaeology and Research Center in Barnardsville.
