The Teen Awesome Group is a teen group started at the Weaverville Library in 2008 and serves all teens ages 12-18. We meet monthly through the school year, and new members are welcome at any time! Our group serves middle, high and home school teens from surrounding areas in hopes of promoting education and empowerment through the utilization of our free library resources. We look for the place where teen interests intersect with our library collection and then design programs to spark and facilitate their interests.
At our April meeting, teens will share their current interests and suggest program ideas for 2013. Your voice will be heard at our meeting! We want to offer the programs that you will enjoy the most.
