The Buncombe County Anti-Crime Task Force (BCAT) arrested Tracy Eugene Owens of Asheville, NC on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
Owens was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon and maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of selling and delivering methamphetamine. The arrest was the result of a five month investigation involving Owens and the distribution of methamphetamine throughout Buncombe County. Owens remains in the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $82,000 secured bond.
