Stay on Budget this Holiday Season

OnTrack Financial Education and Counseling is a great local private, non-profit United Way agency that can help you buy a home, pay down debt, manage your credit, and much more. Bills, heating, and holiday expenses tend to add up this time of year, so if you need assistance, why not look to OnTrack’s Money Management and Credit Classes, that are taking place throughout December:

 

Manage Your Money Class

  • Saturday, December 5th & 12th
  • 9:00am – 12:30pm

This very popular series provides interactive instruction on the basics of financial skills: setting financial goals, developing realistic budgets, tracking and reducing spending habits and expenses, saving money, and managing debt.

 

NAACP Credit Awareness Project

  • Friday, December 11
  • 11:00am – 1:00pm
  • 50 South French Broad Ave, Asheville

Whether you are buying a home, renting an apartment, or applying for a loan, credit matters. This class offers all three credit reports and FICO scores for prices that are hard to beat. In fact, if you come to this class you will receive one free credit report and score!

What Every Woman Needs to Know About Money: How to Start Empowering Your Financial Life

This group education class will explore the difference n how women approach money; how thoughts and feelings, and even fears, both help and hinder. Learn to take advantage of unique ways of decision-making, and also approaches to risks and rewards of personal finance.
