Visit the Flower and Garden Tent at the NC Mountain State Fair where Extension Master Gardener volunteers will be available to provide gardening information. Enter you prize flowers in the Flower Show -- entry days are Sept 8 and Sept 13.

Hours of operation for the Fair will be:
- Fridays (9/9 and 9/16), Thursday (9/15), and Sundays (9/11 and 9/18) – Gates will open at 9 am. Buildings will open at 10 am. Rides will open at noon.
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (9/12 – 9/14) – Gates will open at 2 pm. Buildings will open at 3 pm. Rides will open at 4 pm.
- Saturdays (9/10 and 9/17) – Gates will open at 9 am. Buildings will open at 10 am. Rides will open at 10 am.
Directions: To get to the WNC Agriculture Center from Asheville take I-26 East to Exit 9. Make a right turn off the ramp on to Airport Road, 280. Turn left at the first stop light past the Asheville Airport on to Fanning Bridge Road. The main entrance, Gate 1, is on the right.
