  • If you need or wish to have service done by the Buncombe County Sherriff’s Department a $30 fee made payable to their office is required.

Legislative Changes & Fee Increases, effective 1 July 2011

  • Alias & Pluriessummons or endorsements on original summons now carry a $15 fee.
  • A new motions fee has been created by the General Assembly which requires a $20 fee and a cover sheet for all motions filed on or after 1 July 2011.
