The Buncombe County Solid Waste Management Facility, or landfill, is located at 81 Panther Branch Road. The Transfer Station, which accepts residential waste only, is located at 190 Hominy Creek Rd.

Buncombe Gets New Garbage Hauler

County residents will have a new garbage hauler beginning January 1, 2010.

Items Banned from NC Landfills Effective October 1

Starting October 1st, some items are no longer allowed in North Carolina landfills.
