The mission of the Pharmacy Division is to promote a healthy and safe quality of life for the residents of Buncombe County regardless of socioeconomic status, including low income by: providing education, promoting wellness through prevention of illness; and the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. The pharmacy employs 7 full time pharmacy technicians and 4 full time and 3 part time registered pharmacists.

Registered Pharmacists provide:

• Prescribed drugs for health center patients
• Counseling about all medications
• Medication Therapy Management by appointment
