The Buncombe County Law Library is a public law library. It is part of Buncombe County Public Libraries. Its mission is to serve the legal needs of the general public and the legal community.

The Law Library's collection emphasizes North Carolina materials. Access is through online databases and books. The library provides the online databases free to patrons. North Carolina treatises are available,as well as state and appellate cases, statutes, local ordinances, regulations, law reviews, form books, and directories. Internet access and copiers are also provided. Materials may not be checked out from the library. Copies and printouts are 25¢ per page.

The law library staff offers reference assistance to all patrons but cannot give legal opinions or interpret legal materials.

The Law Library is on the 10th floor of the Buncombe County Courthouse.
