The schedule for the Black Mountain Library is Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm. The library will return to their previous schedule when the current renovation project is complete

News and Information

During the fall of 2008, Black Mountain Library will be under renovation. The library will move into the meeting room for the duration of the project. Black Mountain Library patrons can use any of the other 12 branches of the library system during this time, including using the expanded hours at the Swannanoa Library. This will be the new schedule for the Black Mountain Library until their renovation project concludes in early 2009.

  • I-40 to exit 64
  • 0.3 mi. north on U.S. 9
  • 2 blocks west on U.S. 70 to N. Dougherty on right

The Black Mountain Library is route number 28.

The Black Mountain Library is one block off the main street in Black Mountain. Get off at the intersection of State Street and N. Dougherty and the library is behind the Asheville Savings Bank.
