Essay Contest for Kids: What Books Mean to Me

The Friends of the Black Mountain Library will sponsor an essay contest for kids ages 12-14 during the month of November. The topic of the essay is What Books Mean to Me, and the prize for the winning essay will be $50.
The contest will open November 2 and all entries will need to be submitted to the Black Mountain Library by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25. The winning entry will be announced and read at a special program at the Library on Monday, November 30 at 6:30 p.m.
