Buncombe County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking information regarding two separate home invasions that occurred at the residence of an elderly woman in the vicinity of Rockdale Avenue in Swannanoa. The first incident occurred on October 31, 2014 at approximately 7:30 pm. The victim, an elderly woman in her 90’s, told detectives that an unknown person gained entry to her home and took a large amount of cash. The second incident occurred a few days later on November 2, 2014 at approximately 8:00 pm at the same location. The same victim told detectives that three unknown subjects forcibly entered the residence and took small amount of cash.
Investigators would like to speak to the two males featured in the still photographs (attached below) from the security camera footage taken from the F&J Food Mart located at US 70 and Rockdale Avenue in Swannanoa. Investigators believe that these individuals may have been in the vicinity at the time of these home invasions occurred.
