On October 22 at 7 p.m. archaeologist George Stuart will return to the Fairview Library to present a program that looks at the Maya people of Mexico and their ancestors, who created one of the most remarkable civilizations in all of human history. The presentation will include the very latest archaeological discoveries.
Barnardsville resident George Stuart retired after 38 years at the National Geographic Society where he served in many capacities including Assistant Senior Editor of the National Geographic Magazine. He is a world renowned expert in Mayan archaeology.
