This November and December, Buncombe County Public Libraries will be collecting pet food for Meals on Wheels. Meal on Wheels collects pet food from throughout the community to provide to low income seniors who might otherwise share their lunch with their two/four-legged friends.
Please bring unopened food for small to tiny dogs, and cats (they've had a great donation of large dog food recently and the cupboard is nearly bare for the smaller pets!). The Meals on Wheels organization in Buncombe County helps to feed many seniors and more than 120 of their pets. This holiday season, please consider bringing food and pet toys and treats (especially for cats and small dogs). Let's make this season merry and bright for our seniors and their beloved friends.
