Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP)

BCCCP offers free:

• Chest & Cervical Exams
• Pap Smears & HPV Testing
• Mammograms

We make it easy for patients to get the quality care they need at no cost. BCCCP will provide referrals and follow-up appointments with qualified professionals if needed.

BCCCP Serves Women and Transgender People:

• between the ages of 40-64,
• who have no insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare part B
• below 250% of the federal poverty level, see income chart below for detailed info
• a Buncombe County resident. (Local NC BCCCP contact information can be found on https://bcccp.ncdhhs.gov/Eligibility.asp)
• Other women and transgender people ages 21 to 39 may be eligible.

Patients diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer in BCCCP may be eligible to apply for Breast and Cervical Cancer Medicaid. (BCCM) Patients diagnosed elsewhere who are currently in breast or cervical cancer treatment and do not have health insurance or have lost coverage may also be eligible to apply.
