NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Proposed operating budget for fiscal year 2020

To all interested parties:

The Western North Carolina Regional Air Quality Agency (WNCRAQA) hereby gives notice of a public comment period and hearing regarding its proposed fiscal year 2020 budget. 

A public hearing will be held during the WNCRAQA Board of Director’s Meeting at 4 p.m. on May 13, 2019 in the meeting room at the Buncombe County Permit Office, 30 Valley Street, Asheville, NC.  All persons interested in the proposed budget are invited to attend the public hearing. Any person desiring to comment is requested to submit a written statement for inclusion in the record of proceedings at the budget hearing or prior to the budget hearing. To be included in the hearing record, comments must be received by the WNCRAQA prior to May 13, 2019 or at the budget hearing.

Copies of the proposed fiscal year 2020 budget may be downloaded from the WNCRAQA website at buncombecounty.org/Governing/Depts/wncair/default.aspx. The proposed budget may also be reviewed during the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday at the address above.  The office phone number is 828-250-6777.
