Parents are encouraged to get immunizations for children at their doctor’s office. Immunizations are also available at Health and Human Services located at 40 Coxe Avenue in downtown Asheville, across from the bus station.
Appointments are not needed. However, wait times are expected to increase in August and September due to the number of young people needing “back-to-school” vaccines (required for K and 6th grades and college students).
Please note that WIC West, located on Leicester Highway, does not offer immunizations.
