Pack Memorial Library will host a free evening of fun for the whole family on Thursday, August 21 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Local film historian Chip Kaufmann will introduce three short films which feature some of the best-known comedians of the silent movie era.
Come join us as we enjoy their films and learn more about five comedy greats: Charlie Chaplin, Mabel Normand, Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, and Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle. These actors sometimes appeared in each other’s films and were famous not just as comedians, but also as writers, directors, and producers of classic comedy films.
This program is free and everyone is invited. For more information, contact the library at 250-4700 or email library@buncombecounty.org.
