The North Carolina Arboretum has a great new exhibit you won’t want to miss, it’s called Winged Wonders: Step Into the World of Butterflies.
It takes place through October at the Arboretum, located at 100 Frederick Law Olmstead Way in Asheville. Daily hours are 9am - 5pm.
See the miracle of metamorphosis before your very eyes. On display inside the Baker Exhibit Center Greenhouse, Winged Wonders is an indoor butterfly exhibit featuring a chrysalis-rearing chamber and walk-through butterfly house where visitors can meet a whole host of local butterfly species, including monarchs, swallowtails, and more.
