From Buncombe County Libraries:
While library programs are on hold, the Children’s Librarians of Buncombe County Public Libraries are hosting online storytimes for kids of all ages. Storytimes are posted in the discussion section of “Storytimes with Buncombe Librarians” Facebook event page available on all of the Buncombe County Library Facebook pages. If you select “interested” or “going” on the event page, you will receive notifications when new stories are posted and when the ZOOM information for live storytimes is available.
A new story is posted on Facebook every weekday at 10:30 a.m., with our librarians reading one of their favorite stories or hosting full 25-minute storytimes with songs and stories. To access all prerecorded storytimes, visit the Buncombe County YouTube channel and search for “At Home With the Library”. Join the fun! Read, sing, and dance with the library’s online storytime.
We also have a collection of stories you can listen to anytime on our Storyline. Just call (828) 250-KIDS (5437) and hear a story read by your favorite librarian. We have stories in English and Spanish, and we change the story on a regular basis. You can also find all the stories on our library webpage at buncombecounty.org/library.
We can’t wait to see you again at the library!
