Juneteenth Coloring Page at Your local Library

In celebration of Juneteenth, local artist Heather Tolbert (fromtheashescac.com) worked with Buncombe County librarians to create a special all-ages coloring page featuring luminaries from Buncombe County's African-American community. Celebrate this important holiday, and learn more about its history and the history of those who built our community by picking up a coloring page at any Buncombe County Public Library this week or next. Along with the page, you will find short biographies of each of the individuals featured, a reading and viewing list, and information on how to learn more.
