Closure Alert: Tax Collections Will Be Closed June 24 from 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m.

Please be aware that Buncombe County’s Tax Collections office will be closed for in-person services on Monday, June 24 from 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m. During this time, you will still have access to online resources, phone-based payments (County staff will not be available to answer questions during the closure), and payment drop boxes.

• Phone service: call 877-690-3729 and use jurisdiction code 4301. (Please note that phone service is only for payments, County staff will not be available during the closure.)
• Drop boxes are located at:

  • 94 Coxe Ave., Asheville
  • The Black Mountain Library, 105 N Dougherty St., Black Mountain
  • The Weaverville Library, 41 N Main St., Weaverville
