Buncombe County Public Libraries has added a new ZOOM partner – Cats at Play Cafe. Cats At Play Café is a cat café that provides a fun environment for cats and people to meet and play. Cats At Play foster kitties all come from Brother Wolf Animal Rescue and Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue and serves as another location beyond shelters where cats are cared for while they wait to find their forever homes.
Visit our website to make a reservation. Each ZOOM pass will give you a 55 minute session for two people with the cats. Coffee and snacks are available for your purchase.
ZOOM passes at Cats at Play require two things: 1) You need to book a ZOOM pass on the library’s website. 2) You will also need to visit Cats At Play website and use the reservation code provided with your ZOOM pass to reserve your spot.
You are responsible for booking your timed reservation and you will need to bring your ZOOM pass to Cat’s at Play to use your reservation. You will need both a ZOOM pass and a reservation to visit. Children under age 8 are welcome at the Café at a Kiddie Kitty sessions on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and Monday morning at 11 a.m. ZOOM passes are good for café admission, but don’t cover special events like Cat Yoga.
