Leicester Library: Climate Café for Our Community

Concerned about the weather? If so, you are not alone and you can join in on the climate conversation at the Leicester Library as we share our experiences related to our changing climate and any concerns we may have about biodiversity loss, food security, pollution, personal safety and/or our community well-being. Participants will have  the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings, with others, in a safe, supportive and structured manner.

This session will be led by Cassie Whiteside and Lisa Perry, who are both local licensed mental health clinicians and active members with the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America. Both have been in practice for over 25 years. Their own personal concerns about the changing environment have caused them to begin studying the emerging field of Climate Psychology over the past few years.

This event is free, but registration is required. Please visit the library web page and use the link on the calendar to sign up. Light snacks will be provided.
