Hurricane Helene Family Assistance Center



Search and rescue efforts are underway in response to the Asheville and Buncombe Co. areas affected by Hurricane Helene (Sept. 2024). 

Please complete this form to notify Buncombe County officials of your missing friends and loved ones.

We will do our best to locate and update their current status at the Buncombe Co. Register of Deeds office at 205 College St., Asheville, NC 28801. Please complete this form for each missing person.

All information submitted will be reviewed by the Buncombe Search Team. This team will create and maintain a list of people that are currently unreachable and work with the Buncombe County Emergency Operations Center to find information about their person.
