Buncombe County is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms interested in designing for the installation of a backup generator power system at four Buncombe County Schools to maintain operation of each school’s gymnasium, associated locker rooms and kitchen areas. The selected firm will also be required to provide bidding and construction administration services for at least one location. The County through this selection may also choose to contract with the selected firm for bidding and construction administration services for the remaining three sites upon receipt of the required funding. The Statements of qualification will be accepted until SEPTEMBER 17, 2024, AT 3:00 PM for the above named item, at the Buncombe County General Services Department, 40 McCormick Place, Asheville, North Carolina, 28801.
