The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is sponsoring a donation drive for the children in need within our county. There are many children that call shelters home, and are housed there due to domestic violence and other circumstances.
Employees of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office will be volunteering their time this weekend for a 24 hour drop-off from 7 a.m. Saturday through Sunday at 4 p.m. We invite you to be a part of ensuring these children will not go without at Christmas.
Suggested Donations Include:
Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Shampoo, Hair Brushes,
Deodorant, Soap, Face Wash, Body Sprays for Boys & Girls, Razors, Shaving Cream, Hair Dryers, Various Cleaning Supplies, Dish Detergent, Laundry Detergent, Socks, Underwear (Boys, Girls, Teen sizes too), Towels, Blankets or Throws, Wash clothes, Batteries, Flashlights, School Supplies, Water bottles, and Winter clothing for children.
We are also accepting toys for all ages of children, puzzles, board games, art supplies, school supplies, sports equipment, books, DVDs G, PG, & PG-13 rated only.
