The purpose of the Blue Horizons Project is to address the current climate crisis by leading the community in achieving its community-wide renewable energy goal of transitioning to 100% renewable energy by 2042 through community engagement, direct service programming, and collaboration with Buncombe County and the City of Asheville. The primary deliverable to be provided through the requested services is the implementation of the Blue Horizons Project and providing staffing and management of its advisory board, the Blue Horizons Project Community Council.
