The Affordable Housing Map for Buncombe County is a tool used to search for housing that is not only affordable, but meets the specific needs for individuals and families searching for a place to call home in Buncombe County. This map has a focus on multi-family affordable housing developments. The map allows for filtering of different needs for topics like housing voucher acceptance, the number of bedrooms, units for specific income thresholds, senior housing and more. Many housing services use income caps, based on federal Area Median Income (AMI) data, to ensure they help people who need the most assistance. Start by selecting your household size to the right, and note your AMI percentage to see if you qualify for the needed program.
