Join Us for ecoEXPLORE Family Bug Day on July 17

Looking to get your kids outside this summer? Join us as we walk you through the web-based program, ecoEXPLORE. You’ll learn how to submit photos and complete nature-themed challenges to earn badges and prizes! This initiative by the North Carolina Arboretum includes a different challenge each season that will keep children engaged in learning about nature year-round while also contributing to citizen science.

The theme for July/August is entomology. We’ll explore creepy crawly, squiggly squirmy, and high-flying bug residents!

When: July 17, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

We will meet at the picnic shelter at the far end of the park – past the playground and ballfield.
