Buncombe County Public Libraries Reopen This Week

Most Buncombe County Public Libraries locations will reopen Wednesday, Oct. 23 for our regularly scheduled hours. Fairview, Swannanoa, and Oakley/South Asheville libraries will remain closed in order to allow our staff to continue working assignments in emergency operations.

Our regular hours are Tuesday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

The library does not charge overdue fines and will not be charging for items lost or damaged in the storm. Please call, stop by, or email to let us know if you have damaged items.

We look forward to seeing you at the library!
