Safety Net & Behavioral Health Maintenance of Effort Funds

The Buncombe County Safety Net and Behavioral Health Maintenance of Effort Funds provides funding to healthcare, mental health, intellectual & developmental delays, or substance use treatment providers to increase access to services for those that are uninsured or underinsured and not eligibele for Medicaid.

Applications

Applications must be submitted from January 17, 2025 – February 28, 2025 at 5:00pm. No late submissions will be accepted. You may submit an online application or paper applications are available at and should be returned to the information desk at Buncombe County Health & Human Services, 40 Coxe Ave., Asheville, NC 28801. Completed applications should be in an envelope labeled “Safety Net/Behavioral Health MOE Application”.
