Pack Memorial Library to be Closed Aug. 14; Other County Operations will Continue as Scheduled
Due to road closures and logistics related to the rally for former President Trump taking place at the Harrah's Cherokee Center on Wednesday, Aug. 14, Pack Memorial Library will be closed all day on Wednesday. The County's 11 other library branches will operate on a regular schedule Aug. 14. Find hours and locations at www.buncombecounty.org/library. Pack Memorial Library will operate on a regular schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 13, but patrons looking to access the library and its programs are encouraged to plan additional time for parking as some road closures will begin that day.
All other County operations will operate on a regular schedule Wednesday, Aug. 14. Community members using County services downtown may want to plan additional time due to increased traffic and road closures. Individuals who are scheduled for appointments with the ID Bureau on Wednesday are encouraged to call 828-250-4682 to reschedule.
