As long as patients are accessible, Mountain Mobility is resuming life-sustaining dialysis transport in coordination with dialysis centers. This will help open hospital beds.

Community Paramedics are operating a Medical Clinic that is now up and running in Black Mountain at 12 Florida Avenue in Black Mountain and can provide medical care of any non-medical (urgent care) needs except for withdrawals. They are operating 24/7.

Important local mental health resources include:

Pet Care:

MedVet Asheville will open on Friday, Oct. 4. from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. every day. 677 Brevard Rd Asheville, 28806.
Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital - open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. until Friday 10/4/24, then open normal business hours starting next week. Phone lines and the internet are down, but they can be reached by texting 828-575-2430.
